SXSW - Haiku Review - Final
Here are the final tantalizing tidbits of haiku-y goodness for you in no particular order…
Artist: Akron Family
Loud and chaotic,
Toy shop like instruments, Lots
Of crowd sing-a-longs.
Artist: Kid Sister
Your club-friendly raps
And dance moves seemed to impress
Ice Cube and the crowd.
Artist: A Place to Bury Strangers
Your loud, shoegazey
Sound appealed to most of
The crowd, just not me.
Artist: De Novo Dahl
Your lively indie
Pop just gets better every
Time I see you play.
Artist: Grand Archives
Gentle, not somber
Music with a little bit
Of country flavor.
Artist: Sea Wolf
Subtle and soft and
Beautiful songs enraptured the
Crowd quite easily.
Artist: Kate Nash
Endearing with a
Beautiful voice that she does
Not fully use yet.
Artist: The High Strung
Power-Pop-Indie
Rock. Your drummer is fucking
Manic on the kit.
Artist: Ra Ra Riot
Awesome energy
That made a dance party both
On the stage and off.
Artist: Neva Denova
Someone yelled, “Play
Something good!” Sadly enough
I don’t think you could.
So there it is. The end of the haiku reviews. Next you’ll see reviews of bands that I couldn’t fit into just 3 lines.
